Thread: Commissioned Art?

Recently, Ilija and I worked out a deal for a trade. My end of the bargain was to make a pen (one of my many hobbies). The pen he requested was a Fountain Pen, with silver-toned parts, finished in CA. This was my first pen finished in CA, and I ran into some problems with accidentally gluing the pen to the mandrel. This was also my first commission, so I thought I would show it off to all of you on his behalf. Here are the pictures.

Thanks for all of the compliments. I am blushing reading everyone's praise of this pen. I wanted to thanks Ilija for this commission. I learned a lot while making this particular pen, and look forward to having opportunities maybe in the future to make more pens for this great group of guys. Thanks again.
