Thanked: 884New toy
Got us a big boy truck. Been without a pickup for 13 years. Buddy of mine decided he wanted a new toy. I've known this truck since it was new. He popped off and I took him up.
It's a beast. I love it. Wife has yet to come to come to terms with the tall thing but she wanted to drive it to work tomorrow. I guess that's a good sign.
'06 RAM Lone Star Edition. 5.9L Cummins w/auto. It's chipped. It's serious and will fry the tires if you pull the trigger on it.
Even has a bullet hole in the door.

Heck yeah, nice truck. I hadn't had a truck in a couple years and got tired of asking friends to help haul stuff...then the transmission on my Jeep went out like a month or so ago and WA LA....still not sure how I talked the wife into letting me spend my hard earned money though.

Sadly its already had the passenger side window knocked out...luckily all they stole were cloths when it was parked at the lake...some pervert I guess...they left an iPhone and the money in the console untouched though...

Thanked: 884It's getting around 19mpg. I guess since it's a 4x4 it's kind of short legged. At 75 it's turning 2100 or thereabouts. Still gets better mileage than the 2012, 5. sump'n liter F-150 gas rig I drive as work truck.
Those knobby noise makers are gonna be gone when they wear down enough to justify buying some new tires. They look cool, but........Member Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club, participant SE Asia War Games 1972-1973. The oath I swore has no statute of limitation.
