Tis true!! You do get used to them, but you pretty much have to in "Tornado Alley".
Gary England has retired, but his colleague, David Payne has an impressive record of being pretty much "right on the mark"! If it doesn't all pan out, he's already told you what it could do and why it might not.
And, yeah, you do learn to sense the threat of tornadoes by the atmosphere. Heavy humidity, but somehow different than "just humidity", no breeze, and a yellowing of the atmosphere....the very air has a yellow cast. You Can Feel It!!! And, the birds don't even chirp!! Watch Out!!! 👀Last edited by SirStropalot; 07-25-2015 at 04:44 AM.

Mr England has retired , well good for him , I retired last November and I spent 40 years in the "Patch" in and out of Oklahoma and Texas for many a year and I believe Gary was working every year that I was out there, but last year I wasn't around his area so I must have missed his retirement. Thanks Sirstropalot. Tc
