Patrol Sergeant with a large Southern California Sheriff's Department and, in what little spare time I have, sell auto detailing supplies and detail cars.

I shave whenever I can feel whiskers!

Officially my title is Manager, Supplier Management for a top IP transit provider. Our company provides IP transit and Ethernet solutions for large businesses and carrier solutions. Ours is a tech field but I am not a technical person. My contributions are business and financially driven. The best part of the job is that I primarily work from home these days. But that is not to say that I'm not busy every day. I've worked in telecommunications since I left college, including some of the companies that may have interrupted your dinner with tele marketing calls many years ago. It pays the bills.

Before starting with my current employer (Safeway) 36 years ago I was a an apprentice meat cutter for several years with a mom and pop ran store in the town I grew up in. But I also worked produce, carried out and did a little checkout work.

I will be retiring from the trade in January. I do hope that it works out well. If not-------

I hope to be still able to be of help to those wishing to learn this age old art and perhaps do a razor clean up and perhaps a little honing on the side for some spending money.

Due to some hand shaking in the day I typically shave at night as for some reason the hand shaking goes away. 99.9% of the time it's with a straight razor, only on occasion do I use my DE's and it's usually because it's due to too many cold barley pops.

OH! My record for shaving exclusively with a straight razor is 3 years with only missing 3 days and I was damned if I was going to not only risk taking my shaving gear camping but to try to shave with the side view mirror on my truck for 3 days.
