Thanked: 0Middle-age starter
Am 55. Started at 55. All started with my son getting me a brush for Christmas. Then *my* grandpa's razor came out and were restored by Billy. Then others were purchased.
Have had my first two BBS shaves in the last two days without any major cuts. I'm so pleased to have found my way here!

Well this is a dangerous question. I'm 59 and started about 4 years ago. Too senile to do the math so you figure my age when I started!

I'm 26, although I first tried when I was 24 or so. Hoping to get good at honing before I'm too old!

I'm 42 and started shaving with a straight in Feb. I been shaving with a DE all my life and it wasn't bad but the straight is way better. I do notice that my face has cleared up considerably with the straight.

I am 21 (though turn 22 in two weeks). When I first started I figured I would be one the youngest here, but there seem to be quite a few youngsters hanging around.
