wasn't it designed for the farmers? How many farmers do we have now that don't have tractors with lights?

Many years ago I was told to beware of 'information' on the internet as it allowed 'Anyone' to become an 'Expert'.
With that said, I found this interesting as Ron had writtenBut Whose War Effort?

Thanked: 3795I grew up on a farm. The only time the clock mattered at all was for getting to school on time. Other than that we simply worked regardless of what the clock said, because we worked alone on the farm. We did not have to coordinate meeting times, or worry about clocking in or out at the right time. Besides, we always were up long before sunrise and worked well past sunset.
I don't think daylight savings time had much impact on farmers at all.
