Thanked: 3795I was under the impression that it began in WW1 but then ceased, only to be renewed during WW2 and to have continued since then. For that reason I chose to blame the Nazis. If this discussion persists I may have to do some googling rather than relying upon dim high school memories.

I loved living in Arizona, didn't have mess with the whole clock changing and change of sleep time, this year it screwed me all up. Missed church didn't get anything done, I hate days like that.

Nevada lawmakers are urging Congress to allow state to stay on daylight savings time. We do have a bill ready so If Congress gives its permission, then the Nevada Legislature in 2017 could complete the time change. However the deciding factor will be the gaming industry as they are afraid having an hour difference with Califiornia will disrupt their gaming income.
