Sigh.... For most of my working life, I saw this from the other end.... I was a letter carrier in Canada, until my foot and spine gave out and I was forced into working inside the sorting plant. I only wish I had a nickel for every time someone would ask me "Where is my letter from [insert Country of choice here]?"
My personal solution to this problem was to order early and order often. This way, no matter what day of the week or what week of the month, something would show up in the mailbox, making my day. Currently I have no idea what I've ordered, or from where..... I just keep checking my mailbox for "stuff" and more often than not, I'm tickled pink by what I find!
