He was The Greatest, may he rest in peace.
He is well remembered here in Canada for having fought a great battle in the ring with George Chuvalo at Toronto's Maple Leaf Gardens, who danced with The Greatest for the distance.
He really was a game changer and a great talent in so many ways, there will never be another like Cassius Clay, Muhammad Ali.....The Greatest, who danced like a butterfly and stung like a bee.

I am somewhat a student of boxing having grown up with a dad who had been a boxer. I tried too, but was saving my face for shaving :-)
Ali was the best ever..fast and heavy handed. Truth be known, he was also a great thinker and provoked a lot of thought by his style and decisions in and out of the ring. He may have been braver than many who criticized him.dinnermint and Druid like this.Just call me Harold

I wish we could have seen Ali vs Tyson, both in their prime.
My money would be on Tyson but boy would it be a fight to remember

Great boxer and quite a character. While being quite controversial, he stood by his convictions, backed them up, somewhat.
Interesting man for the times, love him or not, to be respected and mourned, RIP"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
