That M-1 is a beauty. Have always wanted one of those but doesn't look like that will happen. I do have an M-1 Carbine that belonged to my Great Uncle who was killed in WWII. The story is when they shipped his body back to the US, his rifle was in the box and my family never gave it back. Maybe that's what they did back then. It is an Inland Arms model and it doesn't see the light of day very often. Stays in the safe. I thought you guys might enjoy seeing the little brother of the m-1 Garand. VERY nice early M-1 Carbine. Those are great fun to shoot. Great piece of family history.
