    I often mispronounce words intentionally .. just to show folks that I'm not as smart as I think I am!

    A favorite is "tostesterone" for testosterone. A few others ... Silicone valley for Silicon Valley... although I'm sure California has lots of silicone breasts, lips and butts in that valley! There's a bridge in New York called the Throgs Neck ... I usually refer to it as the "Frogs Neck!"

    I had a friend that I did a lot of duck hunting with. I would always intentionally say gooses instead of geese. He eventually lost it and went off About how gooses is not a word. I just grinned and said "I know".

    Hmm, was going to do a 500 word mis-medly (YEP) but thought it would be a waste of time.

    I agree one hundred percent.

    "the dog wants out" - No it doesn't it wants to go or get out
    "he needs picked up" - No he doesn't he needs to be picked up!!!

    I know a few New Zealandes who do this a lot, maybe it is a New Zealand thing.
