R.I.P. Bagmaster
My favorite way to store and carry handguns/rifles is with the USA made Bagmaster products. So having acquired an AR 15 I went to order a Deluxe Tactical Weapons Case 35" and found out they are no longer active. They still have a website, but no one answers the phone, or email, and vendors that used to carry their products are out of stock on just about everything.
This is a shame. It seems that sooner than later everything we buy will be from China, or some other Asian country where wages are low, job conditions are poor, and the entrepreneur charges the consumer the same $ as the USA made product would have cost, or nearly so. Largely due to the politicians of both parties selling the American worker down the river. Pretty soon flipping burgers or clerking at walmart or home depot will be about the only career choices for the majority of Americans.Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Duluth Pack and Frost River make canvas and leather cases for firearms. I think all of the canvas items sold by each company are made in the U.S. They are kind of pricey, especially the all leather cases.

Thanked: 498Oh geeze Jimmy I first saw your title R.I.P. Bagmaster I momentarily thought Bagmaster was a forum member.
Now that I read further I'm still saddened since I have several articles of Bagmaster and loved there gear.

Got this one. Had a heck of a time finding one made in USA that was the 'right' length, and the profile for what I wanted. This is about like the Bagmaster, and about the same price point. Thanks to all who came up with suggestions. Those Duluth Pack and Frost were awfully nice, but more for a standard rifle than an AR, and about 3 to 4 times the price. Anyway ....... all's well that ends well
