    Or there are these types.

The only thing i have seen in common with these is photos from the 80's and old ladies in matching leisure suits 😅

Around here, that wouldn't fly... partially because it might take flight. Folks usually don't consider straw/hay to be an acceptable bread topping and/or ingredient. Management doesn't seem to care about ballcaps/trucker hats, so long as you have a hairnet on the hat as well as your head. So, aside from some strange looks at first, I figure I can get away with wearing a tinted visor.

Ahhhhhhh, I don't imagine a straw topping with a side of hair would very appetizing. I wore a ballcap working in an industrial kitchen with poor ventilation, hats were moreorless required, you'd get used to it.

What is the color temperature of the lights?

It would make a difference for the choice of the tint of the visor.

For the most part, "daylight", with the intensity of the sun.

Most of the alarm beacons are red, however. So I will need to avoid a color of tint that cancels out red. I'm rusty on my physics of light, so I can't remember which segment of the spectrum I need to shoot for .

Negative. The Cattaraugus Cutlery I place in view for that pic is a nice green color to my eyes. Btw, I added the razor for color reference. (Note the taped spine because I'm currently trying to hone it...)
