Do you have a regular morning routine?
Many of the great thinkers, scientists, philosophers, artists and statesmen of the world have well established morning routines. These structured routines are the foundation for well being and a productive day. I am assuming because this is a shaving forum that most of us shave in the morning (except for you night shavers)...but what about the rest of your morning routine?
What is your morning routine?

Hello yeah! Not a shaving routine, but my bowels awake me precisely between 0615 and 0630. After that I shower and drown on a cup of "black grain blood". So, after 20 minutes of honking and cursing I'm ready to beat the biochemistry out of the undergrads.
I shave after night bath, every couple days, BTW.Last edited by Matheus; 08-11-2016 at 09:04 PM.

This just made my day.
My routine is to get up around 0730, brush my teeth, make a breakfast of 1 piece of toast with a slice of cheese and 2 over easy eggs. Vape a bit. Make a couple cups of french press coffee and a 5 minute drive to work.
I always shave every other night to calm my brain before bed.

Usually up by 0530 when I'm on the road, which is most every day. Get dressed, make up my bunk, secure my gear, slip to the drivers seat, take my morning meds and vitamins, perform pre-trip inspection on my rig, and get to driving by 0610.
I shave most every evening, not that I always need it, but it's a great stress reliever at the end of the day dealing with four-wheelers.A little advice: Don't impede an 80,000 lbs. 18 wheeler tanker carrying hazardous chemicals.

.get up around 6 am, maybe, walk outside with the dog. Come in or the wife may bring my coffee to me on the patio even in cold weather, come back inside around 8, have more coffee, maybe get some breakfast started maybe just go and have it at the local diner. After all that shower and a shave, then whatever, life's good for the retired, Tc

It depends where i am, at home i usually get up when i wake up or am woken up by the dog ( or more rarely my daughter). Let dog out, grind coffee and make a pot. Have toast. Check emails etc. Try to coax myself into starting the day - unless i am working with one of my friends in which case that all goes out of the window.
At work i wake up (usually)for about 4.30, have some sort of breakfast (shakes at the mo) go to work do bits of paperwork and pre start meeting. Make coffee.Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

I laugh at myself in how precise my routine is the older I have gotten.
Mine is very fast with many minor details like my glasses and watch being inside my hat next to my bed. Sh@%, Shave, Shower and if I have a few extra minutes in the 1/2 hour check SRP. Drive to work. The target is 20 minutes early to work but many days SRP makes that 15! I have a comfortable spot to park my truck that is 10 or 20 spaces farther than I could park but I like it because it is easy to pull in and out. My old truck had oil spots marking its spot!
Once I get to work and change it is time to relax and get on with the day.

I'm an evening shaver but my morning routine depends on which morning it is;
Mon. & Weds. I have Occupational Therapy from 11:00 - 12:00. On those morning its up at 8:00, take a pill for my stomach, 30 minutes of stretching exercises, coffee while checking email, weather, etc., shower, shave and off to OP.
On the other mornings its up when I get up, pill, exercise, coffee, etc., etc. I don't eat breakfast on any day until anywhere from 12:00 to 3:00 P.M."If You Knew Half of What I Forgot You Would Be An Idiot" - by DoughBoy68

The first 5 min after opening my eyes are spent staring at the ceiling in sheer amazement that I made it through another night. The next 18 hours are basically a logjam of multiple human emotions spanning the full spectrum. Repeat.

Awake anywhere from 4:30 to 6:30. The cat groans and jumps of the bed. Look in the mirror and laugh at the sight. Brush my teeth, clean my upper, make coffee, fix cat's AM treat (small scoop of ground sardines that I put her high blood pressure meds in), computer to read daily paper and print out the crossword puzzle of the day, toast a slice of homemade ww, take my meds (cat and I both take the same prescription got HBP), PB and jam on toast, cuppa and the crossword then to a book reading session on the throne, shower and relaxing shave. To the gym if before 9AM (for some reason don't like to exercise after that time.) Then on to errands, chores, part time work and gnerally goofing off the rest of the day.
