I agree completely. I bought the bike to ride not look at. I rode years ago and stopped. Then after 31-35 years I decided to start back. I got a 2004 1300 Honda and dept it 2 years then traded for a 2006 Heritage the traded it a few months ago. So far this one is sooooo comfortable to ride. At my age it may be the last one i buy. If it holds up like a friend of mine has it will. He's got over 100,000 miles on his.

Well looks like Daytona is canceled for me and my group but we're trying to line things up for Panama city the next week. It'll be a one day ride there and one day back. Just hope the weather holds ok for then.

Had a good ride to Panama bike rally. 10 of us went yesterday. 500 miles Half of which was cross country. I call the wife last nite at about 8 PM and all was well the about 15 minutes after we hung up she called back. Her mother passed. I got up this morning and hit the road at about 7:30AM and got back at about 6:45pm. This wasn't a good year.

I guess you can. Her mother was 95 and in very bad health. She was confined to the bed and very weak. Her quality of life was not good. She was in pain and on oxygen to breath. If i had known this was going to happen i wouldn't have gone but the wife insisted i go. As she said know one knows when we go. I hate I wasn't with her when it happen.

I am sorry if that came out wrong.
I was smiling about your ride until I read about your mother in law.
