    This was a new phone, bought it in September and loved it ! I hope the replacement they're sending isn't somebody else's troubles.

    As for texting, I can't believe how many people like to communicate with texts. It is alright for a quick word, but if the 'conversation' is going to be of any length a phone call is much preferred .......... YMMV
