Thanked: 39Any Blackpowder Shooters out there?
I am a black powder shooter, I have 2 handmade flintlocks that I shoot and have gone hunting with and taken a deer with one of them. Cabela's has a .36 cal. revolver they call the "Yank", all steel. I already have one and just bought another. It is on sale for $199.00 normally $249.00. It is kinda cold this morning down here but I have my melting pot out and will made some round balls for them a bit later when it warms up a bit this afternoon. I have no delay in when I am shooting the rifles, I have a .40 cal. and a .50 cal. rifle. They are sure fun to shoot at the range and I get questions all the time about them. I have the outfit to go along with them also. Anybody else out there that shoots blackpowder?.

I don't shoot them often enough to be any good with them, but I can hit with them..

Love the smell of black powder in the morning! Or anytime of day! I use Pyrodex powder and round ball in my two:
1.) Thompson Center 50 cal. Renegade I built 25 years ago from a kit and can kill a bulls-eye at 120 yards with it.
2.) CVA 50 cal. Kentucky pistol with a hair trigger..........just ask my chin."If You Knew Half of What I Forgot You Would Be An Idiot" - by DoughBoy68
