Thanked: 734I would like to be that confident. But as I say, Trump is still very divisive. Add in the fact that the left will be very motivated in the next election and the fact that the black vote was less than enthusiastic in the last election and there could be more to it than anyone might imagine. I trust you are right. BUT remember that no one gave Trump a snowball's chance in hell and he won. I would simply suggest to Matt Drudge to not feel overly cocky and be very wary of the political left. They may be down but they are not out. All they need is another candidate to feel good about and landscape changes.

The US has a businessman for president now who mainly seems to be there to promote his own and his relatives' businesses. Oprah is a businesswoman. They say history repeats itself. How many repeats can US citizens cope with?

I don't see any emoticons so I presume you are straight up with this comment. However, Trump's run in the "Apprentice" made him quite the celebrity (not that he wasn't one already to some degree). His popularity in that show certainly helped him win the election (along with the fake Russian hackers; everyone knows Russians can't hack their way out of a paper Turing machine).
