Thread: Who's Fishing ???

Even though my vacation starts tomorrow afternoon and fishing opener is this weekend I am going to hang around town and avoid fishing.

What a Zoo. Amateur weekend! I can fish all year.

We will start fishing after the weekend in Wisconsin up north where the Musky season doesn't open for a couple of weeks.

Wednesday we could catch all the fish we wanted. We got a stretch between the rain and some in the rain that was productive. 61-62'f water temp in some areas. Then it got very windy and stormy that night. Still fair fishing on Thursday. Hard frost still windy and no sun after that. The water temp dropped around 9'f on average and the fish were far and few between. We came home a day early with nothing but rain in the near forecast.

Still better than going to work!

I am getting ready to do some sturgeon fishing in about a week. Probably do a little walleye while I am at it.
