First weekend all year that I have had the time to go fishing and it's been raining nonstop since Friday morning here. My rods are getting dusty and feeling neglected!

I took the boy to Patagonia Lake south of Tucson for his first fishing trip last weekend. He caught a stick!

I went fishing for about an hour a couple of weeks ago with my father. This was the largest fish of the day, a Largemouth Bass. I think he was surprised the small pond across the road from his house held decent sized fish. Name: IMG_2298.jpg

So far this year I've caught one black widow and 3 brown spiders.

    3 lures lost.

The fish are probably still mocking me.
