Based in the following timeline if related I'd guess an earlier member of the family maybe father or grand father. Marx died in 1883. Engelswerk C.W. Engels, Foche manufactured straight razors from 1892 – 1943, in Solingen, Germany. The F.W. Engels company was in business between 1909 and 1943.
Keep your concentration high and your angles low!
Despite the high cost of living, it's still very popular.

Very interesting. Makes we want to dig into who Freidrich Engles was. Amuses me a bit that according to that quote Engles was the "son" of a wealthy factory owner. It would be surprising to me if a wealthy factor owner himself bankrolled Marx....
"Intellectuals" defined as those who deal purely in ideas and social theories generally have a bad track record and largely a devastating effect on humanity through history. Intellectuals and Society by Thomas Sowell. Excellent book I would recommend to anyone."Blues fallin' down like hail." Robert Johnson
"Aw, Pretty Boy, can't you show me nuthin but surrender?" Patti Smith

I had run across that!
I think our F.W. Engels is spelled differently?
It seems I remember that C was in Germany while F was in the U.S. selling German razors.
Sons of the original....Something like that!Last edited by sharptonn; 05-09-2017 at 12:49 AM.

Looks like Friedrich never convinced Karl to shave
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
