    They might be cable here too, I've never stopped to look. Typically the sooner I get off those roads the happier I become. But it doesn't look like it would do much to deter any rock large enough to be a threat to traffic.

    I'm here but I used to work with a brother and sister who were two of 19 children (the family counted the miscarriages and the stillborns) anyway their family came from Texas and had been traditional field workers. The sister was one of the older kids and one day when we were talking in the break room she said; "You know, when I was growing up, I never thought about us being poor; but I remember my dad making shelters out of cardboard boxes for us under bridges.

    I knew several of the children and you couldn't ask for more descent hard working people. I'm proud they are my friends.

    I don't know about anyone else but I count my blessings.

    A few years back, we awoke to some snow on the 4th of June here on the valley floor. That was some shockingly crazy weather!
