I agree about the genetics. Some folks just don't have a healthy background in the family. Not that I'm going to go out and stuff myself at every meal. I try to cut back because of no exercise and just sitting on my but for 14 hours a day driving. I have an extra 20 pounds on and sometimes it goes up to 25 lbs but at that time I start feeling it. I'll cut back on the snacks in the truck, try to eat a salad for lunch without smothering it in dressing but most the time I just go with the flow. I always pass my physicals. The last one I had (DOT Physical) I had just worked a 12 hour day driving in Denver traffic all day. The Doc knows our company and just couldn't believe that I had worked that day. She said my blood pressure was great and just couldn't understand how that could be.

Now pains in my back from sitting in the truck all day, I can help that one.
