Well, you can't bitch about some actors/actresses being paid mega bucks. After all it is us peasants that make all that possible by parting with our hard earned bucks to view the movies. As one who never made big in life there is a certain irony in that.

Whether you the like political opinions coming out of Hollywood depends entirely on your personal political view point. Oddly enough there are Hollywood people expressing right, left and centrist political opinions. Like the movies, there is something for all audiences.

When I was young (long long ago) I would go to the first showing at 1-2PM. Cost was 15 cents. coke was 5 cents . That's long way from what they charge now. I don't go to the movies anymore. T V is high enough.

Ha I got you beat. When I was a kid it was ten cents and that was for a double feature and we didn't care what the move was only that it was the summer and the movie houses were the first places to get air conditioning.

I don't go to movies or pay for cable/sat. I work too hard for my money and most of the movies and TV shows are worthless drivel pushing an agenda - which I can live without.

Better to spend my money on things I care about.

Considering my wife is deployed to a very nasty country for the next year - I would trade free Direct TV for life for the chance to have her in the room to talk....

God bless and keep her safe and bring her home safe and sound. Please relay my thanks for her service and that she is one of Americas best.
