Hollywood
When you think about it Hollywood is full of actors. An actor if you think about it is a paid lair. He's paid to tell you he's somebody else doing fantastic things. And the better he lies the more you believe (if ever so short a time) in his or her part in the movie. They live in a world all there own and for the most part have no idea about normal people or our lives. Now why am I saying all this is simple. When it comes to politics they should not try to lie to us . I believe that the most of us can see through them. Now this is all my thinking on this and each person has they're thoughts. I saw this on face book and thought I would share. If nothing else you can have a good laugh at the drawing or me. either way have fun.

I'm definitely not laughing at you! In fact I've stolen that picture to share with friends!
Unless I've missed something all of those in Hollywood that said that they'd leave the United States of America if Donald Trump was elected President--are still here making far more for a performance than ANYONE SHOULD!
I believe that it was the late James Garner that commented on how ridiculous it was to pay Jim Carey 20+ million to make a movie. I concur. Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree.
Less than 1/3 of the card carrying actors can get jobs acting and that includes T.V, Movies, Ads, modeling and bunches of other stuff most wouldn't even consider as acting work. The other 2/3s are out of luck.
All of us go to work every day and play a part in society. Often times it's not who we really are but we do it because we need the job and the money and benefits it brings. In a way we are all actors. Pro Actors are paid to memorize a script and get in character and make you believe. It's not easy. Some are naturals and some have to study long and hard and some just can't do it. Most actors need to supplement their income with other jobs to survive and many get a role and never get another and wind up selling real estate.
We read about the super stars who are worth hundreds of millions but they probably make up less than 5% of all actors out there (meaning card carrying folks). Actually most of the big money goes to people you are totally unaware of. People like the Producers and Directors, Studios and Banks, Investors and an army of others are where the money goes.
As to politics you be right on about that. When Ronald R was president that was the best acting job he ever did in his life. He should have gotten the Academy Award.

Thanked: 3227Well, you can't bitch about some actors/actresses being paid mega bucks. After all it is us peasants that make all that possible by parting with our hard earned bucks to view the movies. As one who never made big in life there is a certain irony in that.
Whether you the like political opinions coming out of Hollywood depends entirely on your personal political view point. Oddly enough there are Hollywood people expressing right, left and centrist political opinions. Like the movies, there is something for all audiences.

When I was young (long long ago) I would go to the first showing at 1-2PM. Cost was 15 cents. coke was 5 cents . That's long way from what they charge now. I don't go to the movies anymore. T V is high enough.
