Thankfully there have been no fires here. We have no defence system and those that do so as mobile units elsewhere in the province have been so busy that they have called in off season firefighters from Australia and New Zealand. There are many and massive fires in BC this year.

We have friends in the interior who have a fire going too close for comfort. Same thing happened a couple of years ago. Fortunately, they have a good water supply and a forestry-grade water pump and irrigation system and should be OK. Glad to hear you are good where you are. Originally Posted by RezDog

Mike, i wondered how long it would be before you posted that one. I though about taking a pic of a camper the otherday that was named Outback and though, no. Mike will do it someday.
