    They are not all barn doors. The best eating is in the 20 to 50 pound range. It is also the largest percentage of the Pacific halibut population. They also change sex at around 80 pounds so keeping them over that is killing off the important breeding stock. Halibut are quite fascinating, they start swimming upright and then the one eye migrates over and they start swimming flat, and they are born male, then at a certain point in maturity they all become female.

    A true, transgender species.

    That's what I never understood about deer hunting. Everyone is trying to kill the biggest buck in the herd.
