This ban only went into effect on 1/1/20, and so far I keep forgetting to put reusable bags in my car on the way to the market, even though they are setting out in plane site, or once I get them into the car I forget to bring them into the market. This old dog has been shopping in the market for nearly 70 years, and it's hard to learn new tricks.
As a long time veteran of the Retail Grocery Trade and having spent time in the check out trenches I can tell horror stories of Filthy Dirty Disgusting Bags that customers would bring in.

The topper was that these 'Environmental Concerned Shoppers' wouldn't use the small plastic bags in produce or the meat department to put the items in--so you had not only the products to be purchased resting next to the old filth but new cross contamination!

Yep, but wild turkey, rare breed, still comes right and proper. Ya know...the stuff they keep above the top shelf, stuff.

This must be a cold weather thing because I'm clueless as to what it is. Unless you're getting ready to send smoke signals?

'IF' I'm not mistaken, he's trying to hold some heat in with the rug since it's so cold outside.

I know if the temps here are too low that I struggle to get my smoker to get hot enough to get the internal temp of things like smoked sausage done in time before they start to just dry out.

If the smoker was heating I wouldn't wan't to use that rug.
