She plays in the sink and water if ya let her.
I read this here. Texaco’s Futuristic Streamlined Doodlebug Tank Trucks | The Old Motor
Mechanically, Doodlebug bodies were built by the Heil Co. in Ft. Payne, Alabama. The trucks used Diamond T chassis, with a Hercules L-head, six-cylinder engine mounted longitudinally in the rear and a large radiator behind it. Air pressure actuated the clutch and four-speed gearbox, using the same pneumatic system as the brakes. Because the driver couldn’t hear the engine, Heil mounted a microphone in the engine compartment and a speaker in the cab so he could tell when to shift.
A microphone in the engine compartment!:rofl2:
Very cool! I saw one of those on an old trucks youTube a while back.

Mine even plays in the toilet, gotta keep the lid shut, or the floor will be soaked, just like him.
Same thing Mike. She got in the shower with me once. I tossed her out quickly. Didnt want any scratches in places i could explain. Damn cat will walk in the living room soaked, dripping from head to toe. We know the grandaughter left the toilet seat up again.
All 4 kittens come running if you turn on the water in the kitchen. Stupid cats!
There was a little writeup on the gas truck in the box but it didnt gibe all those details. Makes me wonder what Heil company it is. One make my fuel trailer i drag around every day. Another makes microphones and radio gear. The wife found it at goodwill for 4 bucks. New in the box. She not a bad old lady.
Ha! Doodle Bug, the gas tanker of the future and from Hell! Fits with 2019 alright.
But, seriously, I had to reread the post twice and follow the link to be certain this wasn't yet another April Fool's joke, but that vehicle seriously resembles most commercial airport tankers...only 10x cooler. Evolution, baby. I'm sure Leno's aching to own one.
Interesting that its designers were also responsible for Texaco's logo.
BTW, odd coincidence, the black kitty is named doodle bug. No kidding. But t is a cool looking truck for 1930 to 1940
Go through Ft Payne on the way to visit my folks. Home of the country band ALABAMA.
That futuristic/retro look was popular back then - or so I’m told since I’m not THAT old.

Dave, I know this is supposed to be 'Wordless' but I can't help myself--
My friend just sent this to me. My friend is on the Right and his old, old friend from Texas is on the Left. It was taken after a performance by his old friend in Tuscan AZ.

We had that--seems that odorous house ants are immune.
Those yellow specks are 'Advance 375' which many of them are taking home. It will kill from the inside out. It's interesting as there are two distinct 'caravans' carrying the Advance as they are heading in opposite directions which confirms that it's two colonize fighting over territory.
Advance is great stuff. It's a protein base and is usually what the ants want however I also use Maxforce gel which is a sweet base if they aren't packing off the Advance.

Typical application takes a few months.
Yea we had that 'application' for several months--in fact set a record for snowfall in just February :banghead:

Those gems are so very well showcased in Alberta and Saskatchewan. I have always admired them. Here on the coast, nature reclaims all at a very rapid rate.
Around here there is little left in short order. I was highly amused when I visited an arid area and discovered that nothing rots, it all just dehydrates. In the temperate rain forest, nothing dehydrates without great effort.
