Okay, so what are everyone's favorite Western movies (or is that another thread?). I'll drop a few to get it going in no particular order:
    The Unforgiven
    The Long Riders
    Tombstone
Every John Wayne movie (Rio Bravo, The Cowboys, etc., etc.).
    The Outlaw Josey Wales

    I'm forgetting a lot of classics I know-any help?

Update: I just found The Good, The Bad and The Ugly on Amazon Primee-there goes 3 hours.

2 words "LONESOME DOVE", I know not that old but Robert Duvall is right up there with John Wayne when it comes to being a cowboy Tc
    next would be "CHISUM" Tc

    Aloha!

Funny you should mention "Chism" because I just recorded this on DVR via the Sundance Channel last week. I have never seen this movie before, although I am certainl aware of it and the plot. I am looking forward to it. Viewing planned for this afternoon. I prefer DVR-ing movies on the commercial movie channels because the commercials have gotten so intense, I can't stand watching them live. With the DVR i can fly through the commercials and make it a much more pleasurable experience watching the movie.

Sitting here watching 'Shiloh'. The music on the old westerns is part of what makes them so good, IMO.

That would be great, now that Dr. Who is a woman, who knows what will happen to Westerns, "Rifleman" can be a LGBT woman.....

I must admit to having a soft spot for musicals and this is one of my favourites I'm a big fan of Lee Marvin.

No, was just meaning that we could make all the cool old Western's have female leads...like the new trend...that's where I was headed with that....great video by the way.....:-)
