Like my pipes,I have gotten to a point of contentment where I don't really need more. I have two straights and two DE's,One strop and two mugs plus the soaps and aftershaves. I'm lucky in the sense while I could have run rampant with AD , I didn't and I am just plain content. I use one Straight more than the other and one DE is for work while the other is for home and I get plenty of joy from them as does the monkey on my back...............stupid monkey !
If I ever find out I'm dying, maybe I'll splurge for a Bizmark or something to finish off my final days but............neeeaaahhhhhhh.

I don't deny the food AD keeps me plenty rounded. My two biggest AD's currently aren't even related to shaving. My HEMA AD and my Dining area in my apartment(trying to create a train dining table look...go figure).

Im quite happy to spend a bit of money on this hobby but i'll offset the cost by selling something i haven't used in a while or not needed, as im an electrician i keep all cut off cable and sell it down the scrap yard. If I do a load of overtime at work ill reward myself too.
I fortunately haven't resorted to mugging old ladies or dusting off the ol' sawn off shotgun and balaclava...
