I am Italian and my second wife was (I guess she probably still is) Jewish. My ex-mother-in-law Lila sounded just like the mother in the recording. She was so bigoted I could barely tolerate being in the same room with her. When my betrothed and I were planning our wedding, dear Lila couldn't stay out of it, even though I was paying the whole freight myself. I was paying for the wedding eight years after the marriage ended! It was the best party anyone who attended had ever attended. We were the first people to rent Sheffield Island off Norwalk, CT for our reception: Sheffield Island Lighthouse, Norwalk, Connecticut We ferried our guests out to the island for a ten hour long bash. Lila was mad as a cat through the whole thing. What ticked her off the most was that one of my groomsmen was a shvartzer and she kept telling him so.

Excuse my redneckness, but whats a shvartzer? The few Jewish friends Ive had were not Jewish culture oriented.

I'm sorry Kelly. Shvartzer is the yiddish equivalentof the "N' word. It is a derogatory label for a black man.

Sorry I asked. I figured it meant black, swatrz in german means black so I figured shvartzer was similar, I did not know that it was considered derogatory.
