One should avoid a deadly force if at all possible but if not surprise might be the upper hand. I wish constitutional carry was nation wide. It really should be after all a legal citizen of this country of lawful age should have that right.

God forbid I find myself in a force on force encounter. I will say I would rather have the upper hand and advantage of no one knowing I was armed to begin with. I'd rather respond decisively and with surprise.

Minnesota is a "permit to carry" state. Open or concealed....either way. Funny thing though, I don't think I've EVER seen a civilian open carry in all these years. We've got a heck of a lot of permit holders and more every day. They're all carrying concealed....

The fact is even if you live in an open carry state if you did open carry with no permit required you would be stopped and questioned by every LEO who saw you.

I actually see open carry everyday and as long as the people don't behave like an ass the local constabulary pretty much leave them alone. It's obvious they notice them and pay attention but I have rarely seen anyone stopped or questioned. Then again this is a smaller Texas city I live in (around 80,000) and not Houston or Dallas.

I've seen people carry ARs into Walmart on slings here.
Open carry is very common with no harassment from the law.

And technically, by our Second Amendment right. We can carry how we want when we want. There are also rules stating any law that violates our Constitutional rights is a moot law

Of course up here in the Wild Wild West "concealability" is an after thought now, we have what is erroneously often called "Constitutional Carry" so basically if you are a Citizen over 21 and can legally own a gun you can carry it however you want Open, or CCW

Nothing but a bunch of dang gunslingers, that's all !!

Wright Leather makes a decent holster. Not being a fan of IWB, I cannot comment on their IWB holsters, but their others are top rate

Size: 34.7 KB This is the holster I ordered and use. The firearm how ever is not. I carry the Sig 320 sub compact in 9 MM. Just a little heavy but carries well.
