No wonder some of you carry purses. I am a minimalist. I got my ass chewed off years ago so if I packed as much crap as some people I would have to wear suspenders or a tool belt. The closest thing I carry to a purse is a dinner bucket. I do sometimes carry a zippo but have found a box of wooden matches a little cooler plus they don't impart any flavor on tobacco. chicks dig them too. The P3-AT .380 auto is my usual firearm but sometimes carry a Colt 1911 if dressed to cover it. I generally don't carry keys locks are for honest people theves don't seem to care if it is locked or not.

Even more amazing how often you visit a filling station owning one of them

Or has the U.S. automotive indrustry finally discovered the secret of fuel economy?

On my person I usually carry:

    My keys
    a wallet
    mobile phone
    (all in my pockets)

and a swiss army knife or more recently my nice Hertbertz damascus folder in a belt pouch.

(I love that thing more everyday)

this is the downside, the upside is being able to haul those big screen tvs, refrigerators etc without having to pay someone else to do it.

Kinda reminds me of the conversation some of us guys were having one night about my Samurai...I got the royal treatment about it "rolling over" , it never did do that, and I took it off road numerous times. Anyhow we were sitting in church and I was getting the usual treatment, not 5 minutes after a guy made a joke about my samurai someone came in to tell him that his car had slid into the ditch after he had parked it. We went outside to take a gander and there it sat on it's front bumper....drive wheels off the ground. I looked things over and asked my one of my buddies if he had a chain, which he did. We hooked the chain to his car and to my Samurai and I had him towed out in no time, didn't spin a wheel in the gravel. That was the last time I heard a joke about what I drove.

Funny thing about knives, they're just a tool to help you do what needs doing, until you find that knife that not only does its work well, but fits in your hand well and is beautifully made to boot! at this point You no longer have a knife, you have a friend that you can't do without, nor do you want to do without!!

How true that is. Most people look at me in curious fashion when they find out I carry a pocketknife. They ask me: "What do you use it for?" to which I always reply: "cutting things". But I don't think they realise how often it's handy to have something sharp around.

Zippo which was given to my grandfather in 74 by Great Lakes Steel and my grandmother (god rest her soul) gave it to me when I turned 16 to light my pipes with.

at least two and sometimes three of the following

Taurus 608 8 shot stainless 357 6" barrel-- Mexican or a home made IWB
    H&K USP9 with 1 extra mag - total 31 rounds -- Mexican
Makarov- Bulgarian 1 extra mag -- total 18 rounds -- handloads of course -- Don Hume IWB
CZ 52 with 1 extra mag-- Mexican

    Spyderco Clipit Rescue beatin knife
Spyderco Civilian - tip tie wave -- never cut anything but my 1 micron pasted paddle when I went the wrong way once
    Spyderco Delica wave
    Spyderco Tasman Salt serrated
Boker something with nice red bone handles
    homemade blackjack
Cold Steel plastic delta dart X 2

Since we are on trucks and such, I also have two CZ 52 pistols and one stays in my wifes car so she is always armed.

    I don't have a man bag.
God knows that if I did then I would have to go Class 3 so I could carry a Krinkov in it
    and ammo !
I must not have made that part big enough.
Mostly it's two knives, one gun and the standard stuff.
Sometimes 2 guns but not very often.

I just wanted to clear that up so no one thought I was carrying ALL of that.

BTW, those Zytel delta Darts make super weapons to leave in the shower since they won't rust.
Ever consider how vulnerable you are in the shower?
They also go through metal detectors at the airport.

Boxcutter vs. GW with 2 delta darts??
    I'll take them odds !!

Now that you have changed your avatar your post just doesn't seem to hold the same weight.
