Unless you spine them which in my opinion is not a good planned shot they can run up to 100 yds even with a clean shot.
Unless your neighbors live further than that away that can be an issue...........

Don’t scare them and they often just sit down and bleed out. It does take about a minute and a half, which if spooked they can easily run a hundred yards in that time.

The twang of a bow can easily scare them though.
