A fine cigar and a good scotch next to the fire pit is my plan...
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

No resolutions here. I started making cider. Have a 1 gallon batch now, plan to brew more next year. And I will start as a volunteer in a few small nature reserves nearby, helping amongst other things to clear paths and remove black cherry trees, a foreign invader from the Americas.
End of next year the surgery will move into a church conversion.Last edited by Kees; 12-31-2017 at 08:50 AM.

No real plans. Probably be in bed very early because I have a couple younger employees at the shelter and they want to party. That means I need to go in early in the morning and feed and clean the animals. This only takes about an hour or so but I do have to get up early. My partying days are long gone.
RogerHave a great shave.

Thanked: 3227Looks like the old year is ending the same way the new one is forecast to start, cold. It's 0945 here -30C with wind chill -40C. Going to be fun getting the goodies for a stay at home New Years feast. Time to plug the car in and hope the block heater is working.

Thanked: 3227Yea, I guess a lot of us are caught in this cold snap both sides of the border. Misery loves company. On the bright side it seldom snows when it is this cold.

Thanked: 13246We are staying in, the winter storms are seeing to that...
But the wife and I are doing it right
Menu is Surf and Turf We have a Magnum bottle of Perseco that we received as a gift we might pop
She picked out the Crab and Lobster and is in charge of those
I picked up two nice Filet Mignon's that I am going to Reverse Seer
Sooooooo Basically sitting around eating. drinking. watching TV, and the snowfall, and we might actually stay awake until midnight.."No amount of money spent on a Stone can ever replace the value of the time it takes learning to use it properly"
Very Respectfully - Glen
