Having been convicted by my conscience about the way I did what I did last night and this morning, I came here to post this note and in the process ended up with a massive lesson.

Let me say this: I apologize to you all for the manner in which I voiced my anger and frustration. There are reasons for my anger and frustration but there are no excuses for the manner in which I displayed them. Understanding that my credibility has been damaged beyond repair, nevertheless wanting to do the right thing, I apologize and ask, if you will someday find it within you, to forgive me for my bull-headed actions.

To Lynn above all:

I apologize to you for causing this trouble on your site, which you have been so gracious to allow us to use so freely. I am willing to submit to whatever disciplinary actions are deemed appropriate (temporary suspension, banning, whatever).

Yes, I know that no apology will heal any wounds caused by what I've done.

I wasn't part of that discussion, but as far as I am concerned, nothing has happened that is real cause for concern. losing our temper can happen to any of us, especially in emotionally laden subjects.
