We also have Mike Myers, Martin Short, .... List here...

Also, we have ketchup chips, which you american's don't seem to have for some reason. Why, I do not know.

Of course the most famous and probably controversial holiday date on our calendar is the second Monday of October. That's Thanksgiving. And before all the Americans start pointing out that it's happening like 5 weeks early, it's not the same Thanksgiving as yours, apparently it's a giving thanks for the harvest, which is why it comes earlier because harvest is kaput by the end of October for sure up here.

But we still gots turkey and pumpkin pie! But November feels quite long, lol.

Do you mean as a product? Because I've known a few Americans who like dipping potatoe chips in ketchup ---- hell we like fries and ketchup so I don't know why either.

I totally love ours much more than the American Thanksgiving. Ours fits in perfectly for a nother Holiday. Sept (Labour Day), October (Thanksgiving), November (Remembrance day [Had this when I worked for the bank off ]), and December with Christmas.

Sounds disgusting! Of course I don't even like ketchup on fries (prefer malt vinegar)!

When I was a boy it was more common to see ketchup spelled catsup.

    Yep Catsup

Malt vinegar? ----now that's downright unamerican ---- go figure ---California boy -next worst thing to a Canadian.

Interesting Canadian quote: " Canada is like an old cow. The West feeds it. Ontario and Quebec milk it. And you can well imagine what it's doing in the Maritimes. "

Ohhhh Tommy. See he got away with sayings like that because he introduced health care.

+1 for mentioning Saskatchewan in a post though
