I've always heard that particular concoction referred to as 'A Shot in the Dark', which I always thought was a real 'catchy' name.

Thanked: 1Ilija if you drink a lot of Timmy Ho's then it's no wonder your palate for coffee is ruined. Tim Horton's coffee smells and tastes like burnt chickory to me, I honestly can't stand the stuff. I do however, appreciate that they sell steeped tea there, so at least I can 'be cool' with the daily Tim Horton's run at work.
I just heard about that espresso shot in a cup of regular coffee the other day, sounds interesting.

I've started to make my own stuff as of this afternoon, so it's all good. Since we'll probably make the return trip A LOT shorter, I'll be able to survive until we come back across the border. Mark, I'm in rural Nevada, a place with a population of 600, that is 70mi away from the nearest town and 120mi away from the next one. At least the steaks are decent and the service is great. A very nice lady that cooks at the Owl, named Lola was the one who bandaged my finger when a piece of sheet metal gave me a 3oz gusher as the local clinic is only open m-f 9-5. Looks like we're settling in for the long haul.

Thanked: 1Ilija,
You should have said you'd be in Detroit. We could've gone for beers!
Detroit's not that bad (I can say that as I don't live in the city proper anymore!) There are some sections that are really well taken care of. Try a ride around Belle Isle, during the day. Never at night

Ray, I would have loved to have grabbed a brew of 3 with you, but we were just passing through Detroit. As we're pulling 12-13hr shifts and choking on dust here, we'll probably just zip through the country on our way back and make it back to Ontario in record time lol

I'm on my way home. Staying over in Elko, catching a bus to Reno tomorrow, staying there for a day and flying off to Toronto (with a Vegas connection, but no time to explore). When I get back and get my hands on the USB cable, I'll post a little photo essay about the trip and the job. It includes a photo of me using a prototype on the cutting edge of straight-razor technology
