We're in the same boat.
Just got rain, freezing rain, sleet and snow.
Not that deep, only about 4 in. total, but it's like dealing with wet cement.
New year's Eve beer and bourbon on deck.

Thanked: 563We are at our cottage in eastern Ontario. Freezing rain from Sunday evening through all day Monday and then ice pellets.
It warmed up over night and we now have rain and wet snow. Not much accumulation since the snow is melting as it lands. Ice falling off the trees and the roof is freaking out the dogs and I keep looking to see if any has hit the car.
There were power outages all around us, but we managed not to get hit - had extra water, batteries and the wood stove going just in case.
The joys of an eastern Ontario winter.David

We are having a light rain off and on, it's supposed to get to 50 degF today and close to that tomorrow so we are having a heat wave.
The record cold for the Walla Walla Valley is on December 30th 1968 at -28 below zero F.
While I hate the cold, our economy is agriculturally driven and the farmers need more rain AND snow. Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.
