Not having witnessed first hand the devastation caused by disease outbreaks cuts no mustard with me as an excuse not to get vaccinated. That is unless you are an animal who can't read history. It is all there in black and white for all to see. I also don't believe it should be a choice to get vaccinated as a child. There should be penalties if a non vaccinated person causes an infection in an another person. Just like there is for impaired driving, which if caught you pay a penalty for endangering the rest of the herd by your actions.
