The problem is, when you "risk the flu", you are also making that decision for EVERYONE YOU COME INTO CONTACT WITH. If that includes people who are, for whatever reason, immuno-compromised (the elderly, cancer patients, diabetics, etc.). You are, therefore, risking the lives of not just yourself, but those around you. It's irresponsible and not supported by the science.
