I have flown with them when I was a member of the civilian search and rescue unit here. I have a lot of respect for them and what they do. Almost weekly it seems a Herc comes into Thunder Bay to para drop SARTECHs at the airport. I think "good to have around" is a bit understated. They are a fantastic and invaluable part of the search and rescue team to have access to.
