Yeah, well it was brought to Florida by people traveling. What goes around comes around Bob. Not trying to be a smart Alec. Just saying if nobody travelled it would never have left China.

Exactly why people need to stay still. The virus needs people moving in order to move. If everyone stays put we, the corporate we, can figure out where it is and then further isolate those that have the virus, and then we can get back to work.

Exactly. And don't be stupid like our college students who decided that classes being cancelled was a reason to have a block party creating 12 new cases with one fell swoop. It seems like most people are doing that...the grown ups at least

Yes, he and his wife went into self isolation immediately on their return. On Mar 25 the Feds invoked the Quarantine Act making mandatory for those people returning to quarantine themselves for 14 days. Max penalties for breaking that law is up to a $750,000 fine and/or 3 years in jail iirc. It has teeth if they do decide to use it.

Yea, that is the point. Too many people still have their head up their backside about the importance of self isolation and social distancing. Consider also Floridians travel too so everyone has a share in the possibility of spreading this thing not just tourists to Florida. You can just never tell from where it came.
