As I lay on the ground from the fall off the porch yesterday I said to myself "Hmmm REALLY not a good time to wind up in the Hospital DumbA$$"

I was lucky that it wasn't that bad of a fall, and all the years of Kempo / JuJitsu helped so that I landed safer than most would have, but I couldn't help but think now would be a bad time to have to be stuck in the hospital with an injury..

I decided it would be a good day to sit in front of the computer and finish taxes instead

Sitting here this morning thinking about the Cornish Game Hens for Easter Dinner tomorrow, I love Game Hens

Day 24 of Operation Isolation, so far the wife still lives honestly not much has changed for us up here, we have our 4th confirmed case in our 2 counties, we finally have more info on them...
Info is good because it stops conjecture and those that almost seem elated every time somebody gets sick,, Weirdos
These 4 people live here, but were in contact with somebody out of the area that tested positive so through contact tracing they have been tested and ordered to self-isolate at home... It makes a bit more sense now finally and stopped all the rumors floating around

We made National News again for defending the constitution, and a big dust-up between our county sheriff and some Cardio Surgeon in Spokane / CdA, then with Armon Bundy and Easter Services..

Nobody questions the "Stay at Home" orders constitutionally, but the arbitrary use of the word "Essential" has ruffled quite a few feathers, but of course, we are in the news for it

I saw Missippissippi is on the news for almost the same things, and Kentucky had some of the same issues, interesting legal fights brewing

    Anyway

Stay Safe and have a Happy Easter Tomorrow

Our county Health Dept has been trying to keep the community up to date about how many cases of Corod19 we have.

    Interesting statistics;

Confirmed Cases by Gender Number Updated
    Female 10 4/11/2020
    Male 11 4/11/2020
    TOTAL 21 4/11/2020

Confirmed Cases by Age Number Updated
    Under 20 1 4/11/2020
    20-39 8 4/11/2020
    40-59 7 4/11/2020
    60-79 5 4/11/2020
    Over 80 0 4/11/2020
    TOTAL 21 4/11/2020

Male and Female pretty much a 50/50 ratio.

More cases in the 20-39 AND the 40-59 than the 60-79 year olds and NO Cases 0ver 80 years old.

Thankfully there have been NO Deaths.

There is a bit of hope that things are improving on the testing front.

Again, we have the smell of powder but not yet the absolute smoking gun that will allow international measures to remove the advantages of the perpetrators.

The communist party has used the tactics to reduce population and free up food stuffs wherever it has been introduced. In those countries, the Army is in the driver's seat and the basis of the regime.

Looks like the Premier of Ontario will extend the social distancing/self isolation for another month.

Here they are also. They are going to get much backlash soon I think.

The models that they supposedly are using don't show any improvement by continuing this.

From what I see and understand the models are just an educated guess but after 2 weeks and isolating old folks longer the ICU bed need and death rate etc. don't improve.

The Province not looking only at the models but for a peak and then a sustained dropping off of infections/deaths. Don't ever think that after a 2 weeks there is going to be a miraculous decline. All you have to do is look around the world and see that it takes a lot longer to drop off.

I guess I am struggling with how long this can go on.
Haven’t read where once infected, the chance of reinfection is less, or less difficult to recover from.
So really I guess we stay isolated until an immunization is developed? How that can work and still keep the economy moving if it’s longer than a year I do not know.
Even three months of support is going to set us back billions. The underground or cash economy will kick in and folks will still mingle to earn money to support their kin.
I guess it’s about keeping the numbers below the capacity of the medical system till the above immunization is made..
    Unprecedented times gents.
