    sorry for derailing the thread but boxing kangaroos was quite the thing in the late 1800/ early 1900s, in fact the boxing kangaroo has become an Australian national sporting symbol.

    yes it's a true event and it was filmed by the guys buddies who were with him and they interviewed him in the hospital after it was over. He actually jumped on the deer's back and was thrown off over the antlers and then the deer just started stomping on him with it's hooves similar to what a horse would do before his friends could scare the deer off.
