    Ha Ha Varmint.

I would eat squirrel but I doubt there's much meat on the dag bern varmints

Small critters like rabbit make very good soup. I imagine large squirrels and other similar will be the same.

I really don't like the thought of eating Bear, eaten plenty of wild Rabbits, my Grandmother made a lovely Rabbit stew with carrots potatoes and celery, I really would love to try Moose and Elk, I've eaten Wild Boar Venison and Ostrich.

Still remember my dad and his brothers fighting over the brains, while eating squirrel gravy and biscuits

Did they have trouble with lead poisoning using the shotguns?

I have trouble liking soup because to me it is a poor mans meal trying to stretch things out.

Sort of similar to macaroni and cheese. Who would want to go to a restaurant to eat that?

If you invited me to your house and served these and others like it I would gladly accept and enjoy them but to make them myself reminds me of being poor.

I know someone who claims to have had that happen to them. He was an avid duck hunter. After one hunt and subsequent meal he was not feeling well. When they took an x-ray of his stomach, they found 14 lead BBs in there. He obviously needed to to a better job cleaning his game and chewing his food. If that is true, I don't know if I would go around telling people about it...

I must admit that I have eaten lot's of squirrel and gravy and biscuits in my time. When the leaves were turning and after the 1st frost, look out poor squirrels! That was in my young and innocent days....

I may be in the minority, but I found this post quite offensive.
I thought this was an online forum about shaving, are there not such forums that cater for the penile challenged that feel the need to kill animals to prove themselves.

I cant see a problem with people hunting to feed themselves, we are omnivores after all.
A hell of a lot of the food we consume in developed countries is mass produced shite, animals are kept in appalling conditions, fed steroids to provide more meat and in the case of Halal and Kosher are slaughtered inhumanly.
Vegetarians cant sing too loudly as soy, a staple part of their food, causes mass deforestation effectively killing much wildlife.
Also many farmers in developing countries sell to big companies as they can make more money thus effecting local communities as they cant afford to buy the produce.

You don't have to think of this when you're buying from a supermarket.
