You can't go straight to the ER, this is what I am trying to make sure you all understand, so you don't get caught it the same situation

If you have Symptoms they are going to require a CV-19 test BEFORE they see you..

ie: if you have a Cold Flu Bronchitis Pneumonia etc this is what happens, I didn't know this until Thurs, I thought exactly the same as all of you

I learned and had to negotiate the system, the only think your Dr can do is order the test for you rather than having to spend the time I had to with the Health District it might save an hour or two nothing more

Some places do not require an order from a Dr for a test, but I am not sure how that works

After that it depends on your particular testing apparatus usually determined by county

Oddly in Bonner's Ferry about 2500 ppl they have the faster test than Sandpoint 7800 ppl that was something else that surprised me

Anyway something to actually check into ahead of time
In your original post you said your doctor would not see you without a test and it was life threatening to not see a doctor quickly.

At least here the ED cannot refuse to see you. They might hold you in a separate area if you a PIA. {Person Of Interest.} Sounds like police talk.....

I don't endorse using the ED if not needed but you make it sound if she didn't get the meds she could die. That sounds needed.

Maybe sounds weird way to negotiate the system but use the ED when needed.
