Thank you Justin, for adding a little perspective!

I think it can be done, but such a huge subject would need to be narrowed I think. How about this. How are you all defining "God"? As a conscious "being" actively involved the lives of humans or as something more representative of life and nature as a whole- more "impersonal" if you will?

Oh and I still have problems ringing the toilet when pissing after midnight and sometimes I miss my mouth when eating ---- but I have it all figured out ---

Yes I should have seen that one coming, but I have an answer for that:
Our government does what we tell it to do via the constitution, and we can check if it is upheld. We control the government via our vote.

A religious institution instead writes its own constitution, and then tells you what to do, based solely on the fact that you are a subscription member of that institution.

Anything I can say has already been said by men far wiser and more articulate than me. I differ to the Bible.

yep -- ideally -- but a government out of wack isn't much different than an organized religion ---I think organized religion and government have an indesputable historic link and governments can substitute other "holy" causes for the concept of God and create even greater attrocities ----

I don't know if I like or trust either really --- but I think they have the potential to be more alike than different ----

But so let's figure out God ---can you see the healines? : Shaving forum figures out God
