    Sounds like a police vehicle.

They usually don’t ask where you want to go.

Good point, I’ve asked from the backseat of a couple to stop off at McDonalds, they did not do it!

Its usually cleaners turning them off before they leave of an evening. Some prick once told me he had been working in the dark all weekend! I think some people are so used to smart homes/offices that 'old fashioned' things blow their mind.

    On another note.
I remember a few years ago someone telling me that physical money will be obsolete as it will be digital currency only. I didn't believe it at the time but the way things are going over here they could well be right.
That may be true, but when the grid goes down and we're living in a Mad Max/Road Warrior scenario, it will be back to cash, gold, etc. At that point, I think all this ammo people are hoarding will be a medium of exchange (at least here in the US). "I'll give you a 20-box of 5.56 for that possum you killed," lol.

Or with the box of 5.56, I’ll be able to take his possum!

True-I hope I'm pushing up daisies before it gets to that point.

Or just get 20 of your own.

My stomach would have to be growling pretty hard though for me to clean and eat a possum.

Ha, long before that you'd be overrun and unless you had a small army you'd be in the clutches of "The Boss".

Oh Man! Let's just hope it does not all come down to that!
    Pass the bottle, willya?

Reminds of one of my granddad's favorite stories. He would tell it and uncle Robert would sit a-grinning trying to catch his breath.
Seems possums were a 'crop' back in Eastex in the old days. Big deal to go out and find a nest.
Apparently the possum pelts brought some change back in the depression.
They had the dogs tree a possum and they were quite noisy. My grandad climbed up and hoisted a lantern in a hole of the tree and saw 24 eyes reflecting. The plan was for him to grab them with a leather glove and toss them down to Uncle Robert holding a burlap feed bag to try and catch them. Pissed Possums! Ready? Here he comes! Of course the dogs were competing.

Anyhoo the deal worked out and they penned the little possums in an old coop and fed them fat. Harvested their pelts.
No meat was wasted. The locals were glad to have some he said.

Moral is...Don't count your possums if you have none!
